Lucardo Wins Big in 2023

It’s been an exciting year here at Lucardo Rawtenstall, from new changes and challenges, to new games and a lot of fun adventures in-between. As the year is coming to a close, we find ourselves sentimental over our accomplishments of the past 12 months, and wanted to take a moment to pat ourselves on the back while sharing our thanks with those who have helped us achieve what we have today.

Back in the summer, we celebrated TWO phenomenal wins, with both Lucardo Manchester and Lucardo Rawtenstall being awarded the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice awards for 2023. With a combined total of over 3,000 5* reviews across both sites, we were thrilled to be recognised by TripAdvisor with this highly-coveted badge.

Then, within the escape room industry itself, our year started with a bang when Escape the Review named three of our rooms among their “Top 100 Best Escape Rooms in the UK” for 2022. Treason, Corruption, and University of Magic: Dragon’s Heart all made the list, with Dragon’s Heart even being described as “among the country’s most beautiful games.” We’re blushing!

Following on from this, we’re also proud to have been nominated within the international “Top Escape Rooms Project Enthusiasts’ Choice Awards,” familiarly known as TERPECA. At the time of writing, the final results have yet to be published, but we were elated to see that the University of Magic: Dragon’s Heart had received a nod in the first round of nominations.

Here at Lucardo, we’re so consistently inspired by awards such as these, that we’ve even decided to help organise our own ceremony for 2024. You can read more about that exciting project by clicking right here!

However, one of our proudest wins took place just this past weekend, at the Rossendale Business “R Awards.” Organised by the Valley at Work, this annual awards ceremony serves as a celebration of all the tremendous businesses and organisations within our vibrant community, and we were once again delighted to have been named among the finalists.

Last Saturday 9th December saw the exciting awards ceremony take place at The Ashcroft, a fabulous opportunity to network, celebrate, and congratulate alongside local business owners and community groups. With great pride, we were thrilled to be announced as the overall winners of the “Part-Time Business” award, sponsored by Winter Solicitors. That’s another exquisite certificate and trendy trophy to add to our cabinet, and we’re so pleased!

Of course, while we’re so happy to have ranked among these amazing awards projects this year, we can’t forget that none of these successes would have been possible without our incredible customers. Thank you for supporting us, for celebrating with us, and for joining us on our journey – we’re so grateful to each and every team we’ve been lucky enough to host so far. Thank you especially to those of you who took the time to vote for us, to nominate us, or to leave us a review – your support means the world.
