The Easter Escapade Hops into Blackburn

Has everyone had a cracking Easter?

We sure have!

Let’s take a throwback to last summer, where a certain Professor Lucardo took over Blackburn’s town centre in The Escapade. Brimming with magical missions and peculiar puzzles, this exciting adventure trail for families took players all around The Mall on a quest like no other – and it was all completely FREE.

Over 3,500 teams took part in the quest, and the response was so wonderful that we couldn’t stop thinking about it. So, egg-specially for Easter, Lucardo teamed up with Blackburn Business Improvement District (BID) once more, and The Easter Escapade was created!

This all-new, escape room-style adventure was developed by our award-winning Lucardo game masters, and includes ten unique, Easter-themed puzzles dotted around The Mall in an Easter egg hunt like non-other. It’s free to participate and appropriate for all ages – all you need to do is pick up a trail booklet from the Ask Me Point, and off you hop. Completed booklets can also be returned for the chance of winning a huge £100 prize in high street vouchers!

The Easter Escapade arrived to Blackburn at the start of the holidays, and we’ve already been absolutely blown away by the response we’ve received. We’ve loved seeing photos of guests of all ages solving puzzles, hunting for clues, and even arriving dressed-up for the occasion in bunny ears! Thank you so much to everyone who’s taken part so far, and we hope you keep on tagging us in your snaps! If you’ve not been down to play yet, the trail will remain available until this Saturday, 13th April.
