As we all know, Halloween is right around the corner. Pumpkins, lanterns, goblins and ghouls are popping up all around Rawtenstall, and so we thought we’d have a bit of fun of our own.

Below, we have listed a series of Halloween-y characters, and the qualities we think each one would have during an escape room experience. Can you spot yourself among these descriptions? How about your friends?

· Totally upside-down perspective on things

· Overthinker

· Gets themselves into a bit of a flap

The Black Cat

· Spins locks for fun

· Doesn’t react well to loud noises

· Most likely to wander off

The Ghost

· Loves a good lock and key

· Likes to joke about how “those who don’t escape will be in there forever”

· Probably been here before

The Mummy

· Printed off the booking confirmation to present on arrival

· Very vocal when solving puzzles, so everyone in the group knows “what’s what”

· Brings the best snacks

The Pumpkin

· Just happy to be invited

· Down for any place, any theme

· Total cutie, but a bit of a vegetable when it comes to solving puzzles

The Vampire

· Usually overdressed, but killing it

· Loves a good horror room

· Makes game hosts uncomfortable, but in a good way

The Werewolf

· Leaves locks, keys, puzzles scattered everywhere

· Will shout for clues for the full hour

· The one the game host is looking at when they say “don’t break anything” during briefing

The Witch

· Exclusively plays magic-themed rooms

· Will shout “Alohomora!” at every lock

· Mystic-chic aesthetic, has own cape

The Zombie

· “What game are we playing again?”

· “Can we get food after?”

· “I don’t get it”
