Christmas in Rawtenstall actually starts in November – we don’t mess about in the valley!

The nearby Haslingden Winter Market commences on 24th November 2-4pm in the 6th form theatre at Haslingden high school. Enjoy mulled wine and mince pies while browsing a wide variety of beautiful gift stalls. 

Rawtenstall Christmas Party Nights — The Whitaker. Fri, 29th November, 19:00 – 21:00. Whatever the occasion, be it a works Christmas do or a family get-together, celebrate the festive season with The Whitaker. Includes a Christmas Buffet (£25 per person) and live music.

Christmas lights switch on Rawtenstall – Saturday 30th November approximately 17:00. An historic event that has taken place for many years. You may wish to enjoy this from the comfort of a local café such as Mr Fitzpatricks or a local bar such as Hop microbrewery. 

The Whitaker's Christmas Fair! December 7th and 8th. There will be stalls ran by local artists and artisans; live music; and lots of tasty, festive food. They’ll also have a very special visit from Father Christmas himself, offering presents as well as a Festive Treasure Hunt! (£10 per child).
