Top Places to Eat in the Northern Quarter

 Manager Jack at Lucardo Manchester has come up with his favourite places to eat near us:

Rudys: Best pizza place in town situated in the centre of Ancoats. Now opened a second in Deansgate because of its popularity. I'd recommend the Portobello pizza if you like your mushrooms and use a bit of chilli oil off the table to give it a little kick. Closes during parts of the day to make sure they have enough dough, I imagine they have gained enough customers for it. 

Yard  & Coop: Possibly the best chicken in town but amazing veggie options with their halloumi substitutes. Their dirty fries are to die for, but it's not the place to go if you're looking to keep the calories down. One of the only places I've ever been that has cherryade on tap. The restaurant is really well kept and fits in well with the rest of the Northern Quarter scene. This place is not to be missed.

Trof NQ: Lovely little bar/restaurant in the heart of the Northern Quarter. Get there on a Monday and get 50% off your bill. The breakfasts are to die for and the burgers melt in your mouth. Great place to go if you're walking through and want a quick bite to eat at a good price. The service is always really exceptional and there is always a warm vibe about the place.

Cane & Grain: Hip New York style bar in the Northern Quarter. Perfect for ribs, burgers and anything in between. Get the truffle cheese fries if you're feeling naughty. Great atmosphere in the place and the decor is perfectly fitting with its surroundings.

El Capo: In the mood for Mexican food? Look no further than Northern Quarters best hidden secret. Order a variety of small dishes and sit back and let the spices take over. The DIY taco boards make things interesting and let you have a little bit of everything off the menu. The bar/restaurants small space creates an intimate experience and a relaxed atmosphere. To be enjoyed with friends looking for a full stomach before a drink (or 3) in the bar after.
