The Escapade: Professor Lucardo's Magical Adventure!

Want to help Professor Lucardo on his Magical Adventure? Then grab your wands, and prepare to take on The Escapade –now launched in Blackburn!

School may be out, but the university of magic is always enrolling!

Looking for fun things to do this summer? Well, gather your clan and embark on the most magical new adventure, brought to you in partnership with Lucardo and Blackburn BID. Suitable for all the family and completely free, this unique new activity is certainly an adventure you won’t want to miss!

The Escapade is the newest game from the team at Lucardo, in the form of an exciting, treasure-hunt-style quest right here in local Lancashire. The spellbinding trail will take participants all across Blackburn town centre, where ten unique, escape room-style puzzles are hidden and just waiting to be solved. Do you think you have the skills to help Professor Lucardo find his missing enchanted artefacts, and help him get back to the University of Magic?

For this mission, you’ll need to be ready to test your skills in observation, logic, and teamwork. But don’t worry – you won’t be alone on your quest! A specially-prepared trail booklet – collectable from the Ask Me Point in The Mall Blackburn – will help steer you in the right direction, and helpful hints can be sought by scanning the QR codes at each puzzle stop. Plus, you’ll have Professor Lucardo believing in you every step of the way, too!

Once the mission is successfully complete, be sure to check back to the Ask Me Point. Each trail booklet handed in will be entered into a free prize draw to win £150 in high street vouchers – perfect for a spot of back-to-school shopping!

The Escapade trail will take place in Blackburn from this Friday, 4th August through until 2nd September. While this exciting adventure is similar in theme to the two University of Magic escape games at Lucardo, the puzzles are all different between each one, meaning they can each be played individually.
