Interview with David franchise owner at Lucardo Rawtenstall

 We interviewed David Armitage owner of the franchise Lucardo Rawtenstall to find out more about his experiences so far. 

What do you like most about the escape room industry?

"All the nice people in the industry - all the wonderful players i have had the pleasure of meeting and talking about experiences of games and puzzles.  Everyone I have met has been great and it's such a nice industry to be in - I am so glad that I made the plunge and changed career."

What do you enjoy most about being a host?

"I would have to say it is when I drop a clue at the absolute correct time for the players and suddenly you see their eyes light up with happiness and they turn to the camera and thank you for the clue"

Is  there any time which you can recall which had you in fits of laughter whilst hosting a game?

"I love it when people start rummaging through their own property when they are that immersed in their game they totally forget that it is theirs which they brought in to the room!"

Do you ever have races with staff to reset the rooms?

"Oh yes - I often race with Simon when both rooms have been used in the previous hour - we have been known to sabotage each others reset - I like to steal the jewel from Gem runner - whilst he has been known to lock me on the wrong side of a door in Corruption!"

What came first the chicken or the egg?

"The chicken?"
