Brand new Christmas Escape Room opens at Lucardo Manchester

If you are coming to the Christmas Markets in Manchester our brand new escape room "Operation Santa" will be well up your street.

Lucardo has been in the Manchester evening news:

An Elf-inspired Christmas escape room is coming to Manchester

A Christmas-themed escape room is heading to Manchester next month, complete with a Santa's grotto, giant sleigh and North Pole scene.

Lucardo - which often decorates its existing escape rooms with Christmas decorations - will be committing to the occasion wholeheartedly this year with a special festive offering.

Operation Santa will replace the current Espionage game at the Great Ancoats Street centre from November 15, and will remain in place for eight weeks.

Players of the new game will find themselves entering Santa's Grotto, a portal to the North Pole which they must solve clues to unlock.

Once through the first stage, the game will take players through to a room filled with fake snow, candy canes and log cabins, where they'll have to work to fix a full-scale Santa's sleigh.

Games will last for 30 minutes - shorter than the usual hour slots - and will be soundtracked by a festive playlist.

Business director Ian Pownall said: "We're hoping it will tempt in new customers who might be visiting Manchester for the Christmas Markets.

"We've been designing it since July - it's going to look amazing."

Aimed at teams of between four and six players, each game of Operation Santa costs £60.
