That’s right, Simon and Molly are on the hunt for an awesome individual to come and work with us at a Lancashire #1 attraction.

Now, we know this isn’t a regular old job, and that applicants may have some questions about what it takes to work at an escape room, and why it would be the perfect fit for them. I – a game host who has worked at Lucardo for a year and a half - am here to help! Read on, and learn more about this unique and awesome opportunity…

1.      Share Your Love of Escape Rooms

What better job for an escape room fan than actually working as a games host? All day, you’re surrounded by people – both guests and colleagues – who are passionate about escape rooms. We have as much fun hosting as we do playing them, and there’s plenty of opportunity to play some great rooms as part of our team, too!

2.      Meet Great Customers

Here at Lucardo, we really do have the best fun with our customers. Working as an escape room host is really a public-facing role like no other. Not only are you briefing the teams and giving them a story background to their game, but you’ll be following along their whole experience, too. Behind the camera, you really will feel as part of the team – however funny, frantic, or even frustrating that may be!

I like to think we’re all a rather friendly bunch at Lucardo in Rawtenstall.  We laugh, we joke, we eat cake, and we love chatting all things escape rooms. If you’re a team player with a great sense of humour and the enthusiasm to work hard while having fun, we’re sure you’ll fit right in!

Here, we’re always up and moving – briefing teams, re-setting the rooms, ensuring our puzzles are up to scratch, and constantly making sure everyone in the building is having the best time. There’s no boring, 9-5 desk jobs available here, that’s for sure!
