Top 3 Tips for Holding Your Special Event at Lucardo

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, wedding, reunion, or corporate success, we love hosting special events here at Lucardo. And, from what we can put together from our guests’ wonderful feedback – you love having your events here with us, too!

So, in readiness for your next notable party / gathering / knees-up, we thought we’d assemble some of our top tips for making sure you have the best fun with us on your escape room outing in Rawtenstall.

1. Let Us Know That You’re Celebrating!

Here at Lucardo, we love to know that our guests are celebrating, and will always be sure to help make your event as special as possible. Whether it involves creating a bespoke booking to accommodate a whole company on your year-end night out, hiding your gift inside the final room for your special someone, or advising us on the best rooms to accommodate kids’ parties, we’re on hand to help.

And, if it’s a birthday, we certainly want to know who the honorary guest is – we may even join you in singing a round of “Happy Birthday” to them!

So, give us a call or drop us an email if you have any particular requirements, or just let us know when you arrive that you’re celebrating. If we can help make your party extra-special, we will!

2. Come Prepared

Ok, so not everyone has been lucky enough to have their eyes opened to the fantastic world of escape rooms yet. Whether you’re coming with friends, colleagues, family, or whoever, there may be people in your group that aren’t sure what to expect.

So, make sure that everyone gets the memo to arrive on-time (15 minutes before your game is due to start, to be precise!) and ready for the challenge!

This includes making sure you’re dressed appropriately for the room, too. So, even if you’re going for a night out after the game, we’d recommend you leaving the heels / mini-skirts/ ballgowns / T-rex costumes at home, or at least bringing a change of clothes for the game. Remember: some of our rooms include stairs and crawling – you don’t want to lose precious seconds on the clock struggling with your attire!

Of course, we also request that, however much fun you’re having, you don’t show up to the game intoxicated. For the sake of safety for you and our staff, we ask that you bear this in mind when booking. It’s also really hard to show off your logic skills when you’ve had one too many…

3. Check Out Our Fabulous Neighbours!

One of our favorite things about having our escape room in Rawtenstall is the fantastic array of businesses nearby, that we’re lucky enough to call our neighbours.

With so many fantastic bars, restaurants, activities, and more in our vicinity, there’s no reason not to keep the celebration going after you complete your escape game. Fun things to do during the day? Check. Fab places to go at night? Check!

By all means ask if you’d like some local recommendations – we know some excellent places to eat and drink in Rawtenstall.
