Plus, with the exciting, hands-on nature of escape rooms, they make for brilliant icebreaker activities to get your group talking. So, if you have members of your bridal party who don’t know each other too well, your Hen or Stag party is a great way to include everyone and make sure everybody is having fun.

Here at Lucardo, we’re ready and raring to cater for parties of all different sizes. Whilst an escape room – which usually holds anywhere between two and six people – is a great idea for a small group of friends, you can definitely plan an event for more by hiring out multiple rooms at once!

Although you won’t all be in the same room together, having different “teams” playing simultaneously is a fantastic way to keep everyone in on the action. Plus, what’s not to love about a bit of friendly competition? Stags versus Hens, perhaps…?

Our Manchester site is in a fabulous location in close proximity to the Northern Quarter, with a great array of bars, clubs, pubs, and even an iconic comedy club right across the road.

Rawtenstall Lucardo also has fantastic bars all around, as well as divine restaurants, and even the foodie-dream Rawtenstall Market nearby. Plus, with free parking all over the place, it couldn’t be easier!

Some Things to Remember…

Before you arrive for your fun-filled day of escaping, there are a couple of tips to bear in mind to make sure the experience is great for everyone involved!

·        Let us know what you’re celebrating! Here at Lucardo, we love to make sure every team has a fantastic experience, and if you’re in to celebrate something particularly special then we definitely want to know about it!

·        Watch your outfits – escaping is a hands-on activity, and although there is to be no climbing, jumping, or physical exertion involved, we do recommend you dress appropriately! So, swap your heels for trainers and wear something you can move in – we don’t want your best ‘fits preventing you from making that escape!

·        If you haven’t booked out the whole venue, then please bear in mind that other members of the public may also be on-site in other escape rooms. So, although we want you to have the best time, we would encourage you to be mindful of any props, language, or costumes that could raise an eyebrow amongst other guests, or be inappropriate to children. If you’re unsure, just ask us!
