Stick 'n' step

Stick 'n' Step work with children and young people with cerebral palsy, and their families, from all across North West England and North Wales. They provide Conductive Education designed to help children and young people to become more mobile, more confident, and more independent – ultimately helping them to reach their personal potential and to go on to live a more independent life.

Drug Watch Foundation

Drug Watch Foundation (DWF) provides drug and alcohol awareness information packs and lessons to children up to 19 years in schools and colleges, educating them about the dangers, laws, health and social implications of drug and alcohol abuse. DWF offers this service within the context of promoting active lifestyles, positive behaviours and building self-esteem amongst young people, with the aim of mitigating anti-social behaviour and the onset of health and well-being problems, including mental health.

British Heart Foundation

Heart and circulatory diseases still kill 1 in 4 in the UK, they cause heartbreak on every street. And that’s why British Heart Foundation's work is as urgent and vital as ever. Their research, is the promise to protect the people we love. Our parents. Our brothers. Our sisters. Our grandparents. Our closest friends.

Muscular Dystrophy charity

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to fight muscle-wasting conditions. Founded in 1959, they have been leading the fight against muscle-wasting conditions since then. They bring together more than 60 rare and very rare progressive muscle-weakening and wasting conditions, affecting around 70,000 children and adults in the UK.

Willow Project

Willow Project is a counselling charity in Atherton, for 6-19 year olds and their families, who are struggling with emotional and/or mental health problems.

Mind

Mind works to improve the lives of all people with experience of mental health problems. Through public campaigns, government lobbying and more than 1,000 services, Mind have delivered in communities across England and Wales and have touched millions of lives.

Infinity Initiatives

Infinity Initiatives are a non profit organisation based in Tameside. They provide support and counselling for issues such as substance misuse, housing and homelessness, finance and debt, bereavement and loss, also social exclusion and isolation.

The Princes Trust

The Princes Trust are a UK based youth charity that works with 11-30 year olds who are vulnerable, unemployed or struggling at school to help them to get back on track in life, gain confidence and to get into employment. So far they have worked to help 870,000 vulnerable young people many of whom struggled with homelessness, mental health problems or have been in trouble with the law.

Sepsis

Sepsis is one of the leading causes of mortality and effective recognition and treatment can save thousands of lives. They are a team of specialists who educate and respond to septic patients in the hope that they can empower others and provide very sick patients the best possible care.

When You Wish Upon A Star

When You Wish Upon a Star has a simple mission, to grant the Wishes of children living with a life threatening illness. Their Wishes have the power to transform the lives of the children and families they work with and since 1990 they have proudly granted over 17,500 Wishes across the UK.

CALM

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. They spread their message and facilitate, universities, pubs, clubs and prisons across the country – so that people feel empowered to share their experiences and get the help they need before they reach the point of crisis.

Meningitis Research Foundation

Meningitis Research Foundation is a leading UK, Irish and international charity that brings together people and expertise to defeat meningitis and septicaemia wherever it exists.

Willow Wood Hospice

Willow Wood Hospice is a 12 bed Hospice with a start clinic where people can self-refer if they are diagnosed with a life limiting illness.

Forever Manchester

Forever Manchester is a charity that helps fund and support local charities and community activity in the Greater Manchester area. They love working with them because it gives them an opportunity to help support lots of different people, ideas, and organisations.

Macmillan

Macmillan are millions of people affected by cancer, supporters, professionals, volunteers, and campaigners. They all have one thing in common – their care and support for people living with cancer.

Variety The Children’s Charity

All over the UK there are children who have to cope with sickness, disability or disadvantage. Variety The Children’s Charity provide practical, tangible help that makes an immediate difference to those children and their families.

The Christie Charity

The Christie Charity raises money for a range of projects and initiatives for their patients. Everything they fund goes above and beyond what the NHS provide, enabling them to give their patients the best care, treatment and quality of life possible.

“Jolly Josh” Fundraising Committee

“Jolly Josh” Fundraising Committee is a charity which provides an inclusive preschool toddler group for all children, especially with disabilities and complex/additional needs.
